Basic Explanation  

Pressure comes from many many fast moving tiny gas molecules colliding against the many surfaces all around us. The particles can collide with each other causing some unique results based on the environment. All of this can be demonstrated by simulating thousands of little particles at once. Below is a working model I programmed of pressure filling a closed container. Each dot represents a single molecule.
